As the hosting institution, Southern Utah University is pleased to extend an invitation to come to Cedar City, Utah and be a part of the Utah Advanced Computing Summer Institute (UACSI). The Institute has been organized by the Utah Cyberinfrastructure Consortium, Southern Utah University, the University of Utah, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, Weber State University, the Utah Education Network, USTAR, and the USHE.
During these four days in August, our aim is to provide faculty and industry representatives from different backgrounds and levels of expertise in High Performance Computing (HPC) with an exciting mixture of tutorials and presentations, and an opportunity to network with peers and experts in the field of HPC.
Our objectives
- Help faculty and industry representatives start using HPC in their research, teaching, design & production
- Establish cooperation between different institutions and different fields
- Share the BEST national and international experience in the area of supercomputing
- Establish cooperation between academia and industries
